Experience the garden through the seasons on this guided tour designed to showcase the beauty, diversity, and abundance of medicinal, culinary, and native plants throughout the growing year.
Each Herb Walk, we stroll through the garden, you’ll be introduced to a of herbs, flowers, and useful plants while learning:
- How to identify plants at different stages of growth
- The best growing conditions for healthy, productive plants
- Sustainable harvesting techniques
- Seasonal recipes and preparation methods
The tours are never the same and are designed to engage all the senses, allowing participants to experience the textures, fragrances, colors, and flavors that make the garden a living classroom. Along the way, we’ll discuss how the changing seasons influence plant growth, harvest timing, and the many ways gardeners and herbalists work with plants throughout the year.
Guests will enjoy seasonal tea samples and garden-inspired treats, featuring herbs and plants growing in the garden at the time of the tour.
Each participant will leave with:
- Informative plant profiles for featured plants
- Fresh-cut herbs or garden harvests (season and availability permitting)
- Samples of herbal teas to enjoy at home
- An herb seed of your choice
- An immersive, hands-on & restorative experience
Perfect for gardeners, plant enthusiasts, herbalists, and anyone curious about the natural world, this tour offers a welcoming opportunity to connect with the rhythms of the garden and discover the gifts each season has to offer.
Wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, bring a hat, and basket & clippers for harvesting.
To keep the experience intimate and hands-on, tours are limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants.
